I called Reed Chevy on 1 Feb. and spoke to Luke about a Chevy SUV. There was not a good interest rate, therefore I told Luke I would keep driving my old car. On 2 Feb. I hit a deer and totaled my car. On 3 Feb. another Reed Chevy person called me and I informed him my situation had changed. Thank God for call backs as I had already started looking around for what I wanted, but a used vehicle because I refuse to pay more than 3% interest rate because I have worked hard for my good credit for times like this. Eleven days later I am driving a beautiful 2025 Chevy Blazer at 1.9% and everything I wanted on it; including my moon roof. Luke wanted my business and treated me with courtesy, kindness, and respect. Thank you Luke and Reed Chevy.

I purchased a truck from them on my birthday October 10 I live out of state so I traveled to them Everything looked and went fantastic Right up until I received my title work And the BMV tells me that I am short $995 on my taxes So I contact my salesman, Jeff Davie, and obviously he passes it off to the sales manager or general manager And basically the general manager tells me that I’m on my own it’s not their problem So clearly, they do not care about customer satisfaction, or standing behind their deals And he didn’t even have the guts enough to call me and have a discussion with me. He had to email me. Very cowardly and unprofessional

People be aware. Just look at all the bad reviews from people working with the service department. They will try to mislead you into paying for more than you need. They will try to up sale you on things that you don’t need. They have tried with me and several other people I know. I have given them more than one chance and had conversations with them about this issue to which they are still misleading and will try to take advantage of you. There are plenty of other places in town to take your vehicle for repairs that won’t try to rip you off.
I purchased a 2022 Chevy Suburban RST on October 28, 2022 from Reed Chevrolet in Saint Joseph, Missouri. I believe that the dealership fraudulently concealed the fact that the previous owner/s of this particular vehicle had smoked in it through the duration of ownership. Upon the “purchase day” of this vehicle (all of which prior negotiations had been conducted online & via phone) I went to Reed Chevrolet to drop off my trade-in and finalize the purchase for the new Suburban RST. While at the dealership finalizing documents, the sales representative, Yeison Piantini (Jason), took me into the detail shop where the vehicle was still getting “detailed”. The vehicle doors were open and the environment and atmosphere were as one would imagine. I got the vehicle home around 2p and it was not until later that evening, approximately 6p, when my family and I went for a drive that we noticed a “smokey smell” inside the vehicle. The following morning (10/29/22), this “smokey smell” was more pungent and I had to back the vehicle outside and roll down the windows in hopes of “airing out”. At 3:57p on 10/29/22, I notified Yeison (Jason) of the concern I had regarding the vehicle and its now exposed conditions. The dealership never requested to investigate nor offer to mitigate this issue. In hindsight, it is my belief that the dealership was aware of this condition and fraudulently concealed it through the environment of the detail shop upon my inspection along with a temporary “neutralizing” application. The dangers of third hand smoke & nicotine residual are of concern. I have made multiple attempts to work with the dealership to have this issue professionally mitigated. Each attempt I have made to get ahold of the dealership beginning at 3:57p on 10/29/22 (the following day after purchase) - 9:50a on 11/2/22 to find a resolution, I was met with silence. I ultimately took it upon myself and found a local business that specializes in vehicle smoke/nicotine mitigation. The mitigation expense I accrued was just over $2,000 and included: a full interior cleaning (which was a 3-day process) and a vehicle rental for that duration. Reed Chevrolet instead of taking it upon themselves to offer customer service and mitigate the issue, Randy Crowell (Reed Chevrolet General Manager) had offered $200 towards a cleaning/treatment, which was far less then what was actually required for mitigation. It has been months now of contacting the dealership to seek reimbursement and there has been no success. Reed Chevrolet does not have the right to infringe upon the safety and well-being of my family or myself. It would seem that a reasonable and honest dealership which values their customers would have investigated and resolved this issue. The actions of Reed Chevrolet are despicable needless to say.
I have bought several cars from them over the course of the years. And when I called to find out about a new car they said someone else put a deposit down and didn't bother to ask if they could get another one or ask to help if anything else I need or may be interested in. Called Cable Dahmer In Kansas City and they offered to bring me something to test drive vs. driving from St. Joseph. Needless to say my days of dealing with them are done!!!
I took my 2022 truck in it kept saying sd card removed. They said sd reader was bad they had to order a new one it would take 3 or 4 days to get it in. That was over a month and half ago haven't heard from them at all. Guess i'll go get it done elsewhere.

This place is a joke, i would recommend car city at this point. They had my car over 10 days, drove it for 2 and received an engine code failure.
The service department will rep you off if you do not do your homework on repair cost. They mark up materials way to much and they max out there labor time more than anyone else in town. You can definitely save money going somewhere else for repairs and still have the same quality of service.
My Ford truck blew a brake line on the Interstate while on a cross-country move. I limped into Reed Chevrolet and Tom Pflugradt in your Service Department provided outstanding customer service to me. He secured the truck with my belongings in the Service Bay overnight and was able to get my truck fixed and back on the road the following afternoon, despite it being a Ford. Tom went way out of his way on both a professional and personal level to make sure that I had adequate accommodations for my unexpected overnight stay in St. Joseph, even providing his personal cell number to contact him if I had any problems or questions. Tom epitomizes why Reed Chevrolet is rated Number 1 and I sincerely appreciated his compassionate and caring customer service; you're Number 1 in my book Tom!
My truck broke down on the freeway and I brought it in on a Monday morning and even though they were booked through the week the squeezed my truck in and diagnosed it and had it fixed and ready for me to get back on the road so I could finish my trip as I travel for work!! Thank all of you ! Your efforts are greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!
Kept my duramax 8 days. Changed turbo. Charged me 5256.13$. When they called me to pick it up, it still needed a dealer regen. Still had the same error code as when I brought it out to start with. They did a dealer regen and the error code went out. I get the feeling these guys are parts changers. They change parts because the don’t know what is wrong. When I brought. It to them I told them that GMs code said it needed a dealer regen. When they gave it back to me it still said it needed a dealer regen. I didn’t even get it off the lot before they had to try again.
It was very nice to get a new car again. It will last me the rest of my life I'm sure. As always we get the best of care. Dennis Quinn is always there to answer all questions.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is has been the worst customer service I have every seen. Mark the manger, and Darla needs training in how to treat others. Bought a 2020 Rav4, paid for the warranty 1060.00, that was supposed to been put on my car the day of purchase. The dealership had the Rav4 from 12:00pm to 5:45 pm. I came to pick it up at 5:40pm, Mark had already left for the day without printing my temp tag, the tank was on empty, low tire pressure, missing clips on the back bumper. I only got one key, and I did not receive the universal garage door opener. I called the next day to speak with a manager who claimed he would get it all fixed "Mark", but no call back from "Mark" until I called asking for my title work. My husband took the Rav 4 back up that Saturday the same day I called, and they filled the tank up with gas. I did receive a call telling me my title work was ready to be picked up Monday. Then another call from the front desk lady saying they forgot to do an odometer reading. I requested that all the work be done at one time because I am a working mother. Thursday I called to see if I could swing by to get my title and the odometer read so I could pay my sales taxes and send off for my title. I was told sure come on up we will have it done it five minutes. I go up there to find out that I need to leave the Rav because I don't have thirty minutes to wait I have a kid to get to school. So, the front desk last calls all the managers, no manager answers the phone and at this time the dealership was open for business. She then calls a Sales Rep, who answered his name was James Johnson. He got me into another SUV and told me he would take care of the work that needed to be done. James then calls me around 9:00 that morning, said the clips are being put on and the OD reading is being done, it will be ready at 5:00 today for pick up. James also confirmed that the shield warranty had not been placed on the RAV as I was lead to believe. James set up an appointment for it to be done. "Mark the manager called my that same day around 12:00, trying to put the blame on Darla the sales lady, and trying to be the hero when he had no clue of what was going on. I told him James took care of it and I would call James for help, and that maybe he could buy James lunch. So I go back up at 5:40 pm to pick it up. Another front desk lady was rude and rolled her eyes at me at least 3 times. She told me they shop didn't do anything. So I left the RAV there and drive back home with the loaner SUV. Still nothing has been done, and they only person that stepped up was James Johnson!!! James did not place blame, or try and take others credit, James took action when it was needed to put me first. Now James isn't a manager so he can't make the body shop do their jobs. But I will never, never buy another car from Reed!!!!!!!!!!! I will never tell anyone to go there, I will only speak negative about Reed to anyone I come in contact with. I will bring James a gift! But Randy this is sad, and really shows just how you are running your business. I don't care if you take the time to read this or not but you should. I doubt I will get my other key or universal opener, or xxxx even a detail.
