The 2018 lineup of Chevrolet trucks is celebrating a huge milestone. Their 100th birthday is upon us and the brand is celebrating in stile with two special-edition trucks, a national rollout of its Chevy Legends Truck program, and a day of celebration. Centennial editions of the 2018 Silverado and the 2018 Colorado were unveiled at the Texas annual state fair.
Both trucks will feature unique bowtie Chevy emblems, a spray-in bedliner, Centennial Blue exterior paint, chrome tow hooks and the special emblem can be seen sprinkled throughout. The special-edition Silverado is due to arrive in dealerships in October and the Colorado arrives in November. Pricing for the Silverado is set to start at $54,000 with the Colorado running about $39,000.
The Centennial Edition trucks are a tribute to Chevy's groundbreaking trucks, especially the 1918 One-Ton. The One-Ton was the truck that started the Chevy lineup. Since Chevy made its first truck the brand has sold about 85 million more.
